Grow your business faster and smarter
// Thurs, 5 March, 2020
// 09:30 – 16:30
// Barclays Eagle Lab, Brighton
Topics were covered in depth but also delivered with humour! The workshop was honestly one of the best I’ve been to.
When you’re establishing your business, you rarely have time to take a step back, review your progress and think about where you’re heading. This workshop is for start-ups and young businesses in their first couple of years who want to consider their goals and gain a deeper understanding of what they need to thrive.
The workshop will include:
- Carrying out a business health check
- The ingredients for good decision making
- Ways to engage with your customers and clients
- A session with an accountant in which you’ll learn vital information on business structure and tax
- A one-hour mentoring session with a business expert of your choice, after the workshop
- An opportunity to take part in the Viva initiative and learn how to build a one-page website
The workshop will be run by Richard Freeman of always possible, a consultancy and projects company that supports place-making, skills development, business innovation and future-focused culture. Richard works with grassroots entrepreneurs, networks, big business and policy makers on sustainable growth and smart thinking.
You will also hear a case study from a local business and take part in a Q&A with an accountant from Kreston Reeves.
Please note lunch will not be included.
We have a small number of fully subsidised places for this workshop for those unable to afford a ticket. If this applies to you or someone you know, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
