Challenging Ageism – Valuing Older Workers

What is the value of older workers to our economy and how is the world of work changing post pandemic.

We continued the Ageing Well Changing the Conversation strand with a free webinar as part of Brighton & Hove Ageing Well Festival 2022.

Watch a recording of the webinar below and scroll further down the page to find a playlist of all the Ageing Well events from the last 2 years.

This event discusses the findings from a small survey recently undertaken to better understand the current demand for ageing workers by local employers and the perceptions those employers have about an ageing workforce. This is important particularly in light of ONS data that suggests that the employment of those over 50 continues to fall post-pandemic and the impact this is having on the quality of life of those people.
