CATCH-UP: Modern Slavery in Sussex

How harnessing the value of faith is making a difference in communities.

We continue the Anti-Modern Slavery Changing the Conversation strand with a new series of five webinars aimed at professionals, communities leaders, academics, and anyone interested in this important topic.

The first session of this new strand took place on June 29th. It focused on the value of faith within communities. Watch a recording of the webinar below and scroll down for more details about upcoming webinars and the project as a whole.

Sussex is a multicultural society with many faith groups playing an active role in the wellbeing of communities. This panel discussion will highlight the ways in which faith is supporting anti-modern slavery and provides a space to reflect on where next and how much more can be done.

Speakers:
Annie Meehan, Anti-Modern Slavery Ambassador
Caroline Virgo, The Clewer Initiative
