Step away and think strategically about your business with a new programme of free, practical support designed to help you structure your planning and tighten your business model.
The Confident Business is a practical business support programme for any business in Brighton & Hove that’s been adversely affected by the pandemic, and looking to review and reboot confidently into this year and beyond. You’ll get the tools and knowledge to adapt and help your business thrive – with confidence!
You might be an established business, a sole trader, a micro business or a start-up. The tailored support is also designed for businesses that can face additional barriers including women founders and entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

What support is included?
Workshops (virtual): Pitch, Price, Customers and Tech
Each covering a quadrant of the Business Model Canvas, you’ll come away with refreshed ideas, new confidence and deeper thinking about your business.

- 27 April, 9.30-11am and 8 June, 9.30am-11am – The Confident Business: Price

One-to-one sessions with business experts (virtual)
Workshop attendees can also join one-to-one advice sessions with business experts.

Drawing on the Business Model Canvas model and guiding you through why you need to know who your ideal customer is and how to be sure they trust you to meet their needs in ways your competitors can’t.
Price
What do you need to know to be in control of your pricing and costs? How can you be empowered by your finances instead of afraid of them?
Pitch
Now you know who your customers are – what are you going to say to them? You know your business has something exciting to offer, and that you’re creating real value for your customers. But how do you get the message across?
Tech
Crucial to success is access to expertise, communication tools, data, and technology. But with so much out there, how do you know what you need and how to get it?

BIPC Brighton & Hove based at Jubilee Library in Brighton supports entrepreneurs, start-ups and small to medium businesses across Sussex to develop the insight, skills and confidence to start and grow successful businesses.
