20% of UK citizens consider suicide at least once. Together, we can reduce that.
Grassroots Suicide Prevention is a Brighton-based charity that provides expertise, training and resources to help communities, organisations and individuals effectively support people at risk of suicide or experiencing mental health problems.
They do this via training for people working with vulnerable communities (ASIST, Mental Health First Aid, Understanding Self Harm); digital support and advice (Stay Alive app, online resources); advocacy (Real Talk Campaign); and consultancy for organisations wishing to develop policies and support strategies).
The pandemic created a surge in demand for services and the move to deliver training and consultancy online has presented an opportunity for Grassroots to reach a wider audience. Mental health is a major and increasing focus for many organisations, with more opportunities opening up in corporate and SME sectors.
always possible is working with Grassroots to:
- explore current opportunities and challenges in the third sector, including feasibility to scale-up services and digital transformation
- track themes and trends emerging in the mental health training / charity sector for further investigation
- identify potential avenues for funding and commissioning
- provide a mix of market research reports, critical friendship and team strategy facilitation
The always possible team supports a range of businesses and organisations to more effectively evaluate projects and services.
