Brighton & Hove Ageing Well Festival returns

The Ageing Well Festival is an annual event run by Impact Initiatives – bringing together the council, voluntary sector organisations, and local businesses to offer a jam-packed schedule of events and activities to the city’s older population. The theme this year is Challenging Ageism.

The 2022 festival runs from September 18th to October 3rd, with mutiple free and paid events taking place each day across the city or online. With events covering the arts, hobbies, sport, scientific research and plenty more besides – there really is something for everyone.

Brighton and Hove Ageing Well Festival 19th September to 3rd October

We have yet again joined forces with The University of Sussex to bring you a free webinar as part of the festival.

Challenging Ageism: Valuing older workers takes place on September 28th and asks what the value of older workers is to our economy and considers how the world of work is changing in the post-pandemic world.

Speakers include Dr Natalia Slutskaya (University of Sussex), Nicolette Wykeman (Silverforce Coaching), Luke Price (The Centre for Ageing Better), Claire Witz (Sussex Chamber of Commerce)
