In The Loop vermouth ‘brand to watch’ says ITV

In The Loop drinks is an innovative circular economy business, creating award-winning English vermouth from local surplus wine.

Everything is made on site at the solar-powered winery in Uckfield, East Sussex using English wine, predominantly fresh botanicals they grow ourselves or forage for, and spirits from local distilleries.

In The Loop’s head winemaker and director is Gnina Balchin, food scientist and oenologist, who has combined flavour chemistry and oenological science to allow the creation of a range of different vermouths and bottled cocktails for a wide range of stockists across the UK.

Gnina signed up to always possible’s GLIDE: Radical Collaboration programme in 2022, receiving training and mentoring on how to build an ethical brand through partnership, network-building and story-telling.

Now ITV’s ‘Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh’ are championing In The Loop as a craft drinks brand to watch in 2023, thanks to the recommendation of wine and spirits expert Tom Surgey.
