Sam joined the always possible team in 2022 and is a specialist in research and evaluation focused on places, youth, education and skills.
Background
For over a decade Sam has been designing, overseeing and delivering research and evaluation projects deploying a range of quantitative and qualitative methods. He has worked for clients in central and local government, universities, and private and third sector organisations large and small.
Sam has a number of peer-reviewed publications, and is an experienced podcaster, filmmaker, keynote speaker and blogger. He has discussed his research on national TV and radio and is a regular commentator in sector and mainstream press.
Qualifications
Sam holds a degree from the University of Oxford, alongside an ESRC-accredited research masters and PhD from the University of Manchester.

Sam is currently project managing our work with East Kent College to develop and produce an evaluation framework for their UKCRF funded programmes.
