Have your say on the future of live music in Worthing.
Wednesday 6 November // 6pm-8pm
The Egremont, Brighton Road, Worthing
Thomas H Green is one of the UK’s leading music journalists and writers (for Mixmag, The Telegraph and many others), co-founder of The Arts Desk, a DJ, a teacher and an ‘ageing raver’ (his words).
He is also a Worthing resident and cultural champion.
In this open and informal event, Thomas H and always possible’s Richard Freeman will give Worthing residents, promoters, venue owners, musicians, music lovers and journalists space to discuss the future of live music in Worthing.
Come and join us for a beer or a squash.
We’re interested in finding out:
What is the appetite for live music in the town? Who are the audiences?
What’s new and emerging? Which venues are succeeding? What’s missing?
This event forms part of a larger piece of research always possible is producing for local youth music charity AudioActive and Worthing Borough Council. A detailed report will be produced which will be used to help make key decisions about future investment and decision-making in the local music industry.
We want to understand your vision and ideas for a thriving live music scene, what’s working well and what’s getting in the way for certain artists or audiences.
Come and share your thoughts, talk through your challenges and needs, however big or small and connect with others on this important topic.
Can’t make it?
More information on the consultation and how to contribute your ideas can be found at alwayspossible.co.uk/worthing-live
